Until recently, Dan made his living designing websites, specializing in usability and accessibility. Then he got too old for that and went back to school and took tests and completed paperwork and became certified to teach high school English.
He quit his job designing websites to teach eighth grade in the Philadelphia School District. He resigned his teaching position after one week. He is still smarting from this experience, but will write about it in his blog one day when the time seems right.
Now he spends his days unemployed and worries about the future. The upside of this is that he is writing again, working on essays, short stories, and of course, his blog.
He has a girlfriend. Her name is Donna. As you can imagine, she is a very patient woman.
